Advanced Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) is now a fundamental component of a cohesive, all-source, the intelligence picture for government and law enforcement practitioners; whether for defense, security, and civil or commercial purposes. It can address the full picture of ‘Who, Why, Where and How’ threats emerge, not just ‘What’ has happened!

Our Advanced OSINT courses are designed to provide the government and Law Enforcement Organizations (LEOs) with the skills to capture information available and turn it into actionable intelligence; to prepare for and combat emerging threats; and to formulate an understanding of how these threats affect their organizations, their industries, or geopolitical issues as a whole.

“80% of what I needed to know as CINCENT I got from open sources rather than classified reporting.  And within the remaining 20%, if I knew what to look for, I found another 16%.  At the end of it all, classified intelligence provided me, at best, with 4% of my command knowledge.”  -General Tony Zinni, USMC (Ret.)

The student will learn:

  • How can OSINT assist me in a case?
  • What type of tools that exist today and how practical
    they are to an investigation?
  • OSINT and the future for LEOs vs. criminals.
  • How practical is historical media, and how can it assist
    the LEOs today.

OSINT will give the LEOs the ability to learn, isolate a threat, or prevent an unfavorable action within their area of operation.
